indian GSLV-D3 failed so did the indigenous cryogenic engine

India's GSLV-D3 powered by homegrown cryogenic engine for the first time failed in its mission as the rocket carrying a communication satellite deviated on Thursday (April 15) from its path and went out of control shortly after its lift-off from the spaceport in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. "The mission objectives are not met fully. There are indications that the cryogenic engine ignited but the vehicle was tumbling and controllability lost," ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan said. The 49-metre tall three-stage Geo Synchronous Launch Vehicle blasted off at 4.27 PM at the end of a 29-hour countdown but minutes later ISRO said it had stopped receiving data.

Excellent job by ISRO. Insha allah we will get success in next attempt. And to all my paki friends, I think you dont know the meaning of 'research' or 'indigenous efforts'. We are not expecting your comments bcoz whole word knows the caliber of ISRO and ISRO need not to prove their achievements or success. Statistically proved fact is that the success rate of ISRO launches is better than NASA, ESA.
