I can't believe I finally agree with some of Fox recent programing. BUT - can anyone tell me why fox is now pushing the truth? Silly stinger's and dramatic music aside, we are quickly moving towards one party rule. And I don't mean the Democratic party, I mean a combination of the Democratic and Republican parties. Their interests are very much the same, so are the people who contribute to their campaign funds.
Laws are in place (yes, McCain-Feingold, a nice bipartisan effort) to prevent anyone without a massive fundraising network from presenting a challenge.
Next comes the fairness doctrine, regulating speech.

Every time I hear "bipartisan agreement", "reaching across the aisle" and the like, I cringe.
Americans have been persuaded to think that both parties working together is a good thing. Occasionally, maybe.
I think, for a long time now, the two-party system has been an illusion. Collectively, I have no faith in either, nor trust in their abilities to defend the Constitution or uphold their oaths.
