I don't know how they even got brought up on this video, but quit hating on Slipknot! Yes, you grow out of them VERY quickly, but they are a 'gateway' band for many people, leading them onto heavier bands such as PWD. Think of them as the Fisher Price of heavy music, they're basically a 'my first metal band' kinda thing.

They introduced me to a world of heavy music, and I'll always be thankful to them for that.

Slipknot= Alternative metal/ Nu Metal

Parkway Drive= Metalcore.

Too Completely different types of Metal.

Slipknot, Parkway Drive...though different variations of metal, they are both heavy metal. You see that's the beauty about metal..it's so diverse. You may not like one band, but you may like the other. Plenty to choose from in the metal genre. Yeah yeah there are subgenres...but at in any genre of metal, "metal" in there somewhere. Both bands are great in their own right. No need for the bashing. Stay united metalheads.

Slipknot is annoying, its pretty mainstream, I like to look beyond mainstream...there's really good bands that deserve the attention out there.

@SuperTruthhunter Well of course there not "Hardcore" there more liek nu metal or alt rock but I was the first band that I liked and wanted more of It was the initial stepping stone for my musical taste today. (old LP not that newshit btw)
