LAFD / Brentwood Townhouses Major Emergency

LAFD / Brentwood, Los Angeles, California / 11-10-2011 / Los Angeles Firefighters battle an intense blaze that tore through a two story townhouse complex under construction. The early morning blaze spread to nearby apartments and homes and damaged several nearby properties. L.A. Firefighters utilized numerous handlines, wagon batteries and ladder pipes to quell the blaze, Many Residents were evacuated from thier homes via Firefighters and the LAPD. The early morning fire is labeled as suspicious and under investigation.

Yes, A "Major Emergency" Fire is like a ""Third Alarm" PLUS. As for the question about the aerials, good question, I don't have an answer to what a "ladder pipe" is rated for and what length would correspond with what wind speed...I have to ask around.

Thank goodness this didn't happen yesterday with the terrible winds! Would very high winds prevent use of the aerials?
