before hearing this, had you told me "hey, moby covered a mission of burma song and it's actually pretty good", i might have punched you in the face, but i must say im kind of impressed

He didn't write this song. It is a cover from an eighties punk (post punk) band called "Mission of Burma". Wiki it and find some great music.

yeah dude, this song is a cover and a pretty lackluster one at that...so dont give the man credit where none is due. the lyrics are not his, the music is not his and neither is the arrangement

Mission of Burma were good, but not great. I own signals, calls, and marches and while I enjoy it I can recognize that Moby's cover tops the original by a longshot. Nothing is lackluster about it. It's just louder and angrier.
