AKC Invitational 2011.wmv

Minx and I were fortunate enough to participate in the AKC Invitationals with several of our friends. She had a horrific crash on Friday - but was well cared for by a K9 Sports vet and our massage therapist. Luckily, she recovered well and had some wonderful runs!

Everything was very well organized and we had a great time. Unfortunately, the sod made the running surface less than ideal with holes to the underlying concrete appearing in areas where dogs were turning at high rates of speed. The judges and organizers tried to correct this with bags of soil and sand. When this didn't work, strips of sod were replaced between height groups.
