It is just very pain to wait for the screen to move away everytime before the user can insert the DVD. Don't need the screen on the box. If the remote can display what shows on the monitor, it will be great. But the remote display is so tiny (unless someone designs a hugh remote but who wants it!), the user may not be able to see in high resolution, i.e New HD 2560x1600!

the point of the display is, to change playlists or radiostations without turning on your tv..

Isn't it easyer & cheaper to connect a laptop (wireless) on tv?  ;o)

It's big but you can put 10 hard drives in it. Can you do that with your normal box controlled by your $500 iphone or your $400 logitech harmony?

Think about a dedicated HC room with a videoprojector, will you turn your vp on each time you want to put some music?

Looks cool, but fgperso makes a good point, not only does it look like one of the bigest and bulkyest cd players\audio players i have ever seen, you have to get up all the time to acutally use the touch screen .. who would want to do that????? what a waste of time and money

Actually it does come with a remote, 2 in fact. And the Harmony 1000 works very well with this chassis.
