I'm so glad someone else singled this out as a particularly noteworthy scene. Mew is one of my favorite bands and Comforting Sounds' lyrics and overall depressing musical vibe fit perfectly with the bittersweet aesthetic of EB&D. I have so much respect for Jody Hill as a director after watching Season 2. I loved The Foot Fist Way and other stuff these guys have been involved in, but this really show and season crosses over into poignant territory in a big way.

this show. hands down. has THE BEST intros and closing scenes, then any other show I have ever seen, thats what makes this show so unique, and well made. Consistent, every episode. and. this song. is. awesome. :)

Amazing show. I watched this just to see Danny McBride in another stupid lame comedy. I was so wrong. Its far from just another stupid lame comedy. It has a lot of heart. Especially season two. How Kenny Powers changed and became a nicer, better man with each episode and ending it here and the next episode was just awesome. I don't know how they will be able to top Season two, the ending seemed just too perfect and untouchable.
