NO. with solid axles you have up and down travel. with independent suspension it has up travel and very limited down travel so the tires don't have as much contact with the ground as they would with a solid axle. and i don't even get why you would take a grand cherokee rock crawling, get a wrangler for that.

@brucenash, No.031, No way, it does not better. The Grand is far more comfortable on- and off-road. And the pathfinder does not look that smooth, meaning that the Grand has a better design. Thank you.
