What gets me is Colin Chapman's reaction, in other words, not so much what he said, but how he said it.

We will always wonder at some point if he had plans to sign him to Team Lotus in the future...I'd like to think so! Do remember, Team Lotus was at the top of their game, & Colin sure knew how to pick 'em.
