There are many tasty ways that you can add probiotics and enzymes to your diet. This kind of method is an ancient way of preserving your food and was done before the invention of refrigerators. By adding whey to your food and letting it sit out at room temperature, allows the food digestion process to start before it even reaches your mouth.

The enzymes, lactic acid and beneficial bacteria created during this process ease the strain on the pancreas which is the part of our body that secretes pancreatic juices and digestive enzymes to the small intestine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancreas

Lacto-fermentation helps heal the digestive system by reintroducing beneficial bacteria and discourages the growth of the bad bacteria and pathogenic yeasts. Lacto-fermented foods are crucial for healing from Candida Yeasts.

In this video I show a wide range of lacto-fermented foods, from homemade mustard, salsa, pickles, sauerkraut, and the makings of fermented milk.

My grandfather is 95 years old and still lives in his own home. Every day with his meals he drinks a cup of soured milk or Kefir. He cares for my grandmother who just had her 89th birthday. I strongly believe in the relationship between dietary enzymes and good bacteria with good health and longevity.

  • Sorry! love your video btw. But the sight of the metal hammer banging against metal bowl makes me cringe. This is the reason why I've changed all my cooking utensils to wooden. The notion of metal scraping/banging against metal makes me worry there's fine shavings of metal in my food. Call me paranoid but that's my logic behind it :)

  • good job

  • Thank you

  • Sooo Hot x

  • I do the same thing with yogurt, but I do the whole thing. I use the whey in recipes and then use what is left as like a cream cheese.

  • You are such a QT PIE

  • Very good video!! Much love from another lacto fermenting enthusiast! I am reading food enzymes for health and longevity, a bit dry but it is very precise.. Keep up the good work sister! :)
