  • Can you have 2 drives in your Mac, cuz 80GB is way to less?

  • @iDenmark Yes, and no. If you are dare to remove the default optical drive in your MBP, then you have space to install one more SSD or HDD. MCE OptiBay is the example of such products.

  • @JackMacBook I have the I7 MBP and want to use the standard HDD and then SSD to boot from, that isn't that hard?

  • @iDenmark It depends on your hardware skill. I think it is not that hard if you chose a good tool, such as MCE OptiBay. But please consider Apple will not support your MBP if you remove optical drive and install SSD instead.

    Intel's ssd are 80 ore 160 GB

    And Apple offers 128 256 and 512 GB ssd's

  • @taloto07 No. I did not boot from hibernate mode.

  • @Ulf1103 It is the other one made by Intel. Apple does not offer Intel SSD in its CTO menu.
