Google: Ezekiel Emanuel's complete lives chart. Healthcare for the elderly drops off dramatically after age 50. Now the news is wanting to decrease mammograms and pap smears. First they try to argue that our healthcare sys is sub-par because we don't have the longest life-spans compared to other countries, and then they institute policies that are guaranteed to reduce our life spans. They say our premiums are too high, and then raise them further with new taxes, 250k fines, 5 yrs jail...

cont.. ie Obama complains that priv insur premiums are too costly and rose 5% last yr. His solution? Raise taxes, penalize doctors, hospital, employers, bankrupt state govs with unfunded mandates. Everytime he announces or identifies a crisis, he legislates a catastrophe as a solution. So far he has failed to identify a problem that he can't make exponentially worse.

It is a common thread of history that if you rationalize away the value of a person or group, esp if you declare them to be sub-human you can do anything to them. This is done by demonizing them, making them out to be societys problem, stating they cost society too much, etc.Examples: Hitler started with the Mentally challenged, cerebral palsy victims, made a convincing case that they werent worth the cost of their healthcare or living expenses , moved onto inciting hatred of jews. cont...

Today:Obama, Daschle, Reich, Ezekiel Emanuel stating caring for the Elderly costs too much. Ezekiel Emanuel has advocated denying care to Alzheimers or cerebral palsy patients. I will post examples of statements for ea of these guys.

cont... I don't think our gov would be that overt. It would just be more passive- I am sorry we are short of funds, there is an emergency, we have to decide who will receive treatment. The elderly cost too much. Now this week they talked about reducing mammograms and pap smears. They were so brazen as to float this trial balloon in the week leading up to the senate vote on healthcare.

Obama, Daschle, Reich, and Ezekiel Emanuel have all spoken in favor of rationing care for the elderly because their care costs too much. There is a common thread here, or is it just me?
