@fedex0933 and thats called centralizing the metagame. Pokemon go Uber for that exact reason. It forces you to use an all-sleep team or an anti-sleep team else you lose. Pass Breloom speed or scarf it. Smeargle can do that too. Maybe trick room? Chlorophyll wide lens sleep powder won't miss, won't be outsped, AND can switch moves afterwards. etc.

@LucidChaosyarly Starmie got asleep because of the effect spore (30% chance), so his move (Spore) was understandable. But indeed he broke the clause in the end, and could´ve just ran when he saw the battle was lost.

ur an ass hole

Maybe he broke sleep clause cause he knew he would lose?
are wifi battlers relay such pussy's that they need a sleep clause seriously its part of the game who comes up with rules outside of the actual game play just so they can get a upper hand

@fedex0933 Some rules are necessary, like in any sport or event or organized jurisdiction there must be regulations. If you could put all 6 pokes to sleep, people would, and there wouldn't be much of a battle, everyone would just run around throwing sleep and it would be retarded.
Nobody gets an upper hand when both people follow the same clauses -- which everyone follows.
