Darkcide supported The tatts quite a few times in Melbourne at "The Venue" a legendery gig /venue in St Kilda the was demolished years ago.It was amazing the place didnt fall down when The Tatts and Darkcide played there in 1984, such was the sheer volume. Rip Pete.

Darkcide looks like signing a deal with Addix ltd. I hear their live 1985 album is being remastered and released in Europe.The guys are rehearsing and getting ready to play live again after a 20 year hiatus. Watch this space for more info as it comes to light

Darkcide were a ballsy hard rock band that l used to see quite a bit.Great to see some stuff here, plaese post more.. I seen them at castlemaine, bendigo, The Venue, middle hotel ferntree Gully and Newstead. Have some photos somewhere too. Fantastic stuff!!

The singer would keep blowing up the top end of the PA with that voice- the roadies had to replace the 2 inch throats in the horns all the time!.. What a shame they didnt get a good record deal.

Seems that Darkcide might be doing some gigs in the future. I hear on the grape vine that Black dog, featuring Brett Garsed on guitar and Darkcide might be playing a gig or two during 2007.I have heard this for a few years but nothing come of it, has anybody our there in youtube land heard anything?. How great it would be to see these guys together again, the best live hard rock band in Australia i have seen- i hope they come to Melbourne.
