This is my 1976 Honda CB 550 that i converted to electric. I took an old Raymond model 20 fork truck and used the guts for my motorcycle. This is photo video of building the bike, there will be more to come. After turning in the scrap from the forktruck, I spent $15.61 as of right now, including the cost of new tires. It covered the cost of almost everything I bought to make this project happen... "voltzilla" is its name, thanks rob for the name ... How did u get voltzilla out of killacycle? Haha LOL yahoo its a ForkenCycle

Google Voltzilla for more info!

  • Ha! You my friend are a madman, fit for the lunatic asylum. I LOVE this bike/project, thanks for posting, I was engrossed all the way through, smiling at the bruised knuckles and just how ugly the bike was getting, if you meld a CB and a Forklift truck you cant expect much in terms of a stunner.

Great find while researching the electric bike. Do you have any videos of it moving?

Thanks again for posing this, Iain

  • @ihannay Hi. Thanks, yes there is more footage on My channel. You can also google (votlzilla). Thanks! ~Russ

  • how many watts or amps is your motor rated at?

  • @philtripe Alot... I know the fuse is 250 amp... So you can guess from that as the motor dose not have a tag.

  • @mikedrazen You sir are an idiot. They call it a motor cycle not a'n engine cycle...??? gees wait what? Thanks for watching...

  • thanks for posting ! your video inspired me to want to create my own frankencycle out of an 83 Puch mini maxi with a 36v 500w motor off eby new. the bike will be powered by a 6v step up converter from an antique ww2 military radio telephone i used to own. it is a 6v-300v unregulated motor/generator. my newest update is on my profile. my next video up date is going to be in response to this video as it is my favorite my qwestion is : did you have to get a home made title for the forkencycle ?

  • Way awesome project.

  • @mikedrazen HMMM what a dumbass. I think it cost me 40 cents to recharge my cycleand it goes 40 miles . Think it cost me 7.50$ in my car to go 40 miles and pollutes 100x more then my electric Cycle .I get my refills form Nuke plant near me and solar .So your point is 100% wrong.

  • Ok Just the batteries have them on the back and on each side for balance like a Harlydavidson.. other than that nice man very nice.

  • dude that is furkin awesome ! electric rat bike , Ha Its brutal. What a great transition a true frankenride. Double thumbs up!

  • awesome

  • rwg42985 you are inspired! I NEVER thought it possible to pay for the build with proceeds from selling the scrap metal. Hats off to you sir.

A marketing suggestion. Don't play that song. "Forever" by Aardvark is abused on Youtube by mostly wide eyed high schoolers who think that an explanation isn't necessary. Viewers like us just roll our eyes and move on. I almost missed this.

    BTW. Good luck.

  • You are a fucking genius i was gonna make on with the wheel chair i got cheap but man yours is bigger than mine would ever be ,you made what i dream of making ,hats off man hats way off to the side!!!

  • Creatively clumsy. However I still like the video. Cheers to innovation and hard work.

  • @angelb650650 that's what everyone else does.... i think having a clutch and gears is perhaps the future for electric bikes once they have enough power in the batteries/motor, and even on-board generators...
