  • The fish and chip place on Mackinaw was Named Hienies. I think with the big fish hanging with that long mouth. please check out our Herbal tea site gattea.tv and tell others what we are doing.

  • You are right...the best rice and rice haven't tasted anything like it since. Do you remember the Fish and Chips place? I think it was on Mackinaw. On the Steel Mill pay day I was like a holiday on Green Bay. Ask your uncle do he rememer the big fire on Green Bay near Christmas Day 1963? that was our building and the whole neighborhood picked in to help us.

  • I have many fond memories of South Chicago, I lived@ 8910 S Greenbay Ave next door to Little Joe's Tavern. On my street lived the McDonalds, Hopkins, Collins. My father( Clinton Collins) was killed in 1956 on Greenbay Ave. I also remember Ennis Mosley. Do you remember Kathern's Corner? and the Taco House on Mackinaw Ave.
