PG Leftovers 20 - Everyone vs Behemoth

I could just let one character fight Behemoth, but this was more fun.

Behemoth is immune to Vanish, which does it absolutely no good. This means that everyone except Eiko has a one hit kill for Behemoth. Behemoth being at level 71 does make it difficult for some characters to inflict a status, but it's doable.

Zidane: Since Soul Blade has 100% accuracy, the Sargatanas will always Petrify it.

Steiner: He has several choices. The Ice Brand and Flame Saber can cause Freeze and Heat respectively. The former would require an addition hit for a victory, and the later would make Behemoth KO itself with its next move. He also has Iai Strike. Steiner is still at level 1, so he has a rather difficult time with any of these.

Freya: She can use the Heavy Lance to inflict Stop.

Amarant: He can use either the Scissor Fangs to inflict Venom, the Avenger to instant KO, or Countdown to cast Doom. The Avenger looks cooler.

Quina: Quina has the same arsenal as Steiner: Mustard Bomb, Frost and Roulette. S/he also has the Needle Fork to inflict Petrify. It's a 50% chance with Roulette though.

Vivi: Vivi can use Stop, Break or Death to deal with Behemoth. There were enough death spells going on, I though I'd use Stop.

Garnet: With 99 Ores, Odin has almost a 50% chance to inflict death.

Eiko: To my knowledge, Eiko is the only character who has no one hit KO for Behemoth. Behemoth has 24k+ HP, so even if she is hitting for 9,999 damage, she needs 3 attacks to win. Her summons suffer from needing Boost to be effective for 3 rounds, which I haven't had her learn yet. But with the Magic Racket, she gets a Holy Elem-Atk boost, which makes her Holy just powerful enough to work. Should Behemoth pull off a Meteor Counter, Eiko always has her Rebirth Flame, which thanks to good evade she didn't need. I could have made this battle slightly faster by putting her close to trance, which would have allowed her to cast Holy twice per round. Didn't end up being necessary though.

I forgot to show what you get for winning, but I actually didn't save any of these, so I don't really have it yet. I would probably go with Zidane's battle.

From what I understand, Roulette is all luck. The damage and chance of death for Odin are both affected by Ores, inversely. More Ores = more a chance of death and less damage. Less Ores has the opposite effect.

i use auto regen when i fight ozma but other than that i do think that it is extremely abusable, such as when you have auto regen and you use Ark's eternal Darkness you would gain an insane amount of hp almost all of it

so, less ores = more damage? dang, i thought i was like with most of the other eidolons. think ill get rid of ores then xD

is roulette totally up to luck or not? Oh, and i didnt know that odin's chances of dealing death instantly grow with ores, too (i thought only dmd dealt does)
