@USA4July1776 being canadian though, I love Ford SUVs, it was only until 2007+ when GM or Chrysler could even DARE TO COMPARE the interior as well as the build quality of Ford SUVs and Trucks. I think the ony American company worth comparing to imports is Ford

You can see how designed the Ford Explorer interior is - and the attention to detail how the driver and passenger are basically able to just slide into their seats and the cockpit
As for the fellow above and his criteria for auto choice - its a bit more complex than communist / anti-communist views
Still if the two above had not been helped - GM and Chrysler - the 3rd party suppliers to Ford may of not been around

Normally I'm a Japanese/German car buyer, American cars have left a bitter taste in my mouth after mediocre cars which have cost me dearly for years, Detroit taking my purchase for granted while screwing me royally, and adding insult to injury: the bailouts! Now GM and Chrysler are defenitely out for me, I will NEVER purchase anything from these communist traitors ever again.

Some of you people need to wipe the shit out of your eyes. Wake up! Let's cut to the chase: the current Explorer is a dinosaur! Ford is making their move here in order to stay competitive in a VERY, VERY competitive market jammed with tons of SUVs and Crossovers. This new Explorer is fresh, stylish, and will be very quiet and refined.
