  • 2:34 looks like a chainsaw

  • @MinexXBuckeyeXxCraft Actually, during the '45 Britain was about equal with France. Russia had not yet come into her own and it was not until 1759 that Britain was at the zenith of her power.

If you had read my early comments you would see that I am not bias one way or the other, all I said was that Culloden was a decisive British victory.

  • @LachoDroogie have you no patriotism? The British empire was the biggest power at the time! And little Scotland stuck it out and fought the scum dogs when most were afraid to... its not all about military power pal... its about heart

  • The graphics are so....SEGA

  • @LachoDroogie They got obliterated with style! Kilt matchlock and claymore!

  • I love Scotts.

  • CA should also add some headshot animations.

Rawlinson was also the delightful fellow that gave the men a good-luck message before the Somme, ruining the element of surprise when it was picked up by spies. I'm certain there were other nasty little mistakes that Rawlinson made that caused such terrible bloodshed. The battle might have been a damned-sight shorter if those British soldiers had thrown their grenades in the German trench and inside the dugouts.

  • @LachoDroogie

That's very interesting. I didn't know that Wolfe was a brutal fellow as well; I've heard of him, but when I have, it's been tinted with a sort of Imperial bias.As a small point though, I must say that I'm more inclined to consider Henry Rawlinson to be a butcher rather than Haig. Haig did questionable things, but it was Rawlinson that insisted the men should walk in nice neat lines over to the German trench, not run. Haig actually disagreed but caved in.

  • @LachoDroogie

But he was a Catholic in the '45, and that's why (among many reasons) many Highlanders supported him. Let's not forget the Protestant clansmen that fought against the Catholics e.g. Protestant Clan Munro fought for the Government, whereas many Catholic MacDonalds fought for Charlie. There's a nasty under-current of that Sectarian sort of thing that runs all the way through Scottish history since the 1600s. Thank god it's not as bad as it used to be.
