  • The Adriatic Coast of Italy was all swamps in ancient times. The city of Ravenna was first built in swamps; the houses were stilted above the swamps. In later times it was a Roman Naval port but today Ravenna is six miles inland. All the ancient cities along that coast and that of Greece and Turkey are all miles inland today. They were once on the sea.

Troy and Ephesus both had harbors but are now miles inland. In Egypt Ramsees and Pithom had harbors. Today they are miles from the sea.

  • The New York Times article June 5th 1981 "Jersey Rights to Shore prove Costly to Casinos" The article was published again in September 26 2007. You can read it in the archives of the New York Times. It tells about receding seas in New Jersey and the legalities.

It is a prima fascia case. The town of Sandwich in southern England was at the mouth of the River Stour in mideaval times. Today Sandwich is three miles inland. Richborough was a Roman Naval Port but is now inland 2000 years later.

  • Several bridges over the Mississippi have failed for one reason or another. Some were mysterious failures. In the United States approx 100 bridges fail annually some mysteriously. There are 600000 bridges in the USA and 28% are deficient or obsolete. I designed the Twickenham Bridge in the 60s and I hope it is still standing. The problem with bridges over riv ers is that engineers are not aware of expansion. They design a finite span but the fault expands infinately. Seismic creep is on going.

  • Britain has an average of 4 earthquakes a year. The epicenters are usually along the mid-channel fault line where Britain is separating from Europe. Britain was once joined to the continent. The chunnel crosses that fault line. The Tay bridge disaster could have been caused by expansion because the bride was made with Cast Iron which is not good in tension or torsion. I dont know of any dam failures in Britain. I am not sure weather the glacial period was mythical or mystical its a big debate.

  • All rivers expand and engineers build bridges and dams across them and we wonder why they fail, Several bridges along lthe Mississippi have failed mysteriously: it is due to likely expansion.

All dams leak around the abutments for the same reason: expansion. Engineers dont factor this expansion because they are not aware of it. They will have to and soon before more lives alre lost to mysterious failures. Have you ever noticed the prevalence of earthquakes along river valleys? Check it out?

  • Your observations are valid for you mention the Severn Estuary. All rivers are earthquake fault lines and the estuaries are always sinking due to tectonic expansion. Rome was once surounded by malarial swamps which have since disappeared along with the Tiber. Ostia was once at the estuary of the Tiber but today it is three miles from the estuary and the seas level is 3 meters lower than in the time of the Punic Wars. The same situation is occuring in New Orleans on the Mississippi River fault.

  • Hello Scott

Nice hearing from you. I have been travelling a lot these days. I have just returned to New York from the Arctic Circle in Canada. Among the many things I heve become involved in is the inuit people around Hudson Bay contacted me to attend their meeting of elders. As the old poem by Rosetti says.

" Does the road wind upwards all the way"

" Yes to the very end"

"Does the days journey take the whole long day?

From Morn till night my friend"

    Pax Vobiscum my friend

  • Sorry Taurus

  • Solo Tarsus5. I dont know how anyone can be so eloquent, articulate, self assured and wrong. You are full of Tarsus

  • It is a source of constant wonder that pompos pontification is used as a substitute for clarity.

  • @Richardguy9 Too expensive??? I can recall many revolutions in science just in my own lifetime! Techtonic plates revolutionized geology. Awareness of the known universe expanded beyond any imagination. Archeology has become a completely new science in partnership with genetics. Paleontology has undergone several major revisions based on extraordinary changes in the evidence. Your "investment in established thought" as a reason for some science conspiracy is simply wrong.

  • It is a source of constant wonder how tens of thousands of scientists are so wrong and incompetent (or even dishonest) in the eyes of untrained visionaries like the author of this video. Somehow the Columbus fleet of 1496 is glued to the Egyptian exodus in an argument unburdened by geologic facts or measurable data or any of the differences in geography or the written historical record. Such intellectual gymnastics are truly inspiring!

  • You are perfectly right. There is an investiment in established thought. It is too expensive to change the status quo. Thanks for your interest.

  • when science finaly accepts the growing earth instead of the fictisious plate techtonic rubbish reasons behind receading seas, volcanisum, earthquakes, etc all become perfectly clear and logical? unfortunatly it takes decades to change the statous quo way of thinking as every science book would have to be rewriten on a regular basis

  • Hello Scott I hope youu got the book I sent you. Let me know. I sentyou a copy of

"The Mysterious Receding Seas" Did you see the comment about the receding levels in Lake Michigan. Its happening to all lakes around the world. I hear from the Inuet people on Hundson Bay. The sea level is falling there. The elders have noticed it over generations. Keep getting the message out. Great Job
