Fire alarm system sounding at approximately 6:30 PM in the Grand Hyatt in downtown Seattle. The strobe lights are all in sync and the speakers are Simplex 4903-9168.

  • @pivotous If you are saying the movie theater has them in Code-3, continuous and march time then those are not speaker strobes they are horn/strobes. Sounds like the installers didn't set the horns to be coded by the panel and they sound to whatever setting the jumper on the back of the horn is set to.

  • i saw those before in a movie theater, but the idiots put them in wrong, so the lights were on the wrong side. plus, 1/3 of them sounded in code 3, another 1/3 continuous, last 1/3 in march time.

  • yeah thats definitely 4903--theyre always a speaker w/ a strobe on the right, right?

  • Looks like a Simplex 4903 but can't tell for sure a bit dark.
