However, this part of Zeitgeist is also BULLSHIT, all their "evidence" is wrong and the whole Sun and Son thing is so fucking stupid I feel like shooting the narrator for trying to make it sound like a viable piece of evidence.

Im so glad that there is no god. I cant imagine living with a being that burns people forever, and lets billions of people die in disasters. I am absolutely terrified of death and do not want to die, but Im not about to cling to some crazy afterlife fantasy as a placebo.

@tiggerny88 you're a little off, it was actually Roman Emperor, Constantinus Augustus, who decided it's best to celebrate Christ's birthday on top of the existing winter solstice celebrations to appease both the PAGAN majority AND this new emerging minority who call themselves "Christians." Religions such as Catholicism are extremely pagan in nature, and ask that you worship the "Holy Catholic Church" and the Pope first, Jesus second. This is blasphemous and wrong on so many levels.

@TorontoBoi True, it doesn't say in the bible that jesus was born on december 25th, but the christian church, hundreds of years after jesus died, decided to place his birth on december 25th because of the celestial symbolism. They basically changed his date of birth to his date of death. So the video still maintains some validity about the december 25th phenomenon. The beliefs of the church are not always the same as the bible. Actually, most beliefs of the church do not align with the bible.
