@robertgift its because its not USA where these fucking idiots have no common sense. We need a fucking warning sign for everything. Warning your hot coffee is hot
-
@robertgift The reason for having the white light is the same as for the blue one in China - its presence indicates that everyting works in order. As far as I know, Hungarian signals also have a battery back-up. Unfortunately the batteries are sometimes stolen, and its still a common (and deadly) problem that some drivers ignore the red light.

@felejtsdel Thank you. The blinking white light indicates thathere is a railroad crossing and also thathe system is working. (not dead). China signals have a steady blue light. If no blue light, the signal may be dead, so do not rely upon it. Americian signals do not display any indication that they are dead. But they have battery back-up.
Also, the red lamps have side windows which show the engineer that the light bulbs inside the lamps are illuminating.

@robertgift it's yellow (or rather white), and blinks when no train is approaching
-
Wow, no horn sounded when appraoching that crossing. Unbelievable.
-
@Safegold008 What does lamp below the two flashing red lamps do? Color?

@robertgift GTFO

@Reztomi No horn was heard as he neared the road crossing.
Nearing the road crossing is where the horn would provide additional warning.
But with the signals operating, no horn is needed.

He honks before the attribute.

Tight clearances in the tunnel.
What gauge?
No bells on the signals and no horn sounded from the locomotive?
Thanks

Narrow gauge, 760 mm.
There are no bells on the signals in Hungary.
