  • I manage one of the few roy rogers on the new state thurway! the chicken is the bomb.

  • Hardee's also took Burger Chef away from us - and still owns the rights to the BC trademarks. Roy Rogers restaurants are still around, but mainly in DE & MD, and on the PA & NJ Turnpikes.

  • Hardee's also assimilated Carl's Jr. as well.

  • The only Roy Rogers I ever ate at was located on Route 20 in Westfield MA, near the Westfield/West Springfield town line. It wasn't bad. I'm not sure if that restaurant is even there anymore, or even if there's a building there (I haven't been to Westfield since 2000; I live in Rhode Island now).

  • uh oh, a black person eatin fried chicken. RACIST COMERCIAL.

  • Bojangles is the bomb in the mountains...but i went to a hardees in morganton looking to get some chicken on the weekend of the Bristol Race in March, and all they had was they're usual stuff. Plus some new freaky mexican food chain called Jose's Tacos or somethin. I got a burger tho, it was good.

  • @jfountaine67 Some of the Hardees here in NC have Mexican food, Those have a big Star on the sign. The only thing Hardees really sells well are their breakfast biscuits. Plus all the old people go there for senoir citizens coffee. They used to could smoke in the restaurants too but they banned smoking an all hardees in 2000. Then at the beginning of this year 2010 they banned smoking from ALL restaurants and bars. I can't get around smoke so I didn't care

  • I live in NC, we used to have Hardee's fried chicken too in the 1990s, but then they stopped selling it here in this state because of a place called Bojangles, They sell fried chicken too. Both Cajun and Southern, and Roasted too. I always thought Hardees sold good chicken and the cole slaw was just as good as KFC.

  • We HATE Hardees! This company ruined The ROY ROGERS Company. Now they have the nerve to call ROYS fried chicken--Hardees fried chicken! They should have changed all the Hardees restaurants to ROY ROGERS Family Restaurants. The american people would have accepted this change.

  • roy rogers has been on a downfall dude to hardees poor management in the 1990s in 2003 there were sold to a diffrent company

  • Roys is still kicking on the new york state thurway from platikill to pattersonville. I manage one in new baltimore and the chicken is the bomb!
