At the end of the RTÉ Television broadcast each night up until they did 24 hour TV they used to have a short patriotic movie that showed a handful of reasons why Ireland was the best country in the Solar System with the Soldier's Song in the background. I decided to do my own version of what this movie would be like if it was still being played in 2009 at shutdown of TV broadcasting. You can see two of these RTÉ shutdown movies from the 60s and 70s-80's already on my channel.
