hahah how can i relate to this video?? well im married have 2 sons and another on the way and cant really do anything until me and my wife have struggled to get them to sleep, wanted to get fit so started muay thai mma soooooo glad i found this video :-) how often did you do the workout for? and how long per session?

@78lfx Nah, he's partially right. You don't extend ;completely for some kicks, but as a whole you keep it bent until the hips come around and extend towards the end to make a whipping motion. Something to that extent. hard to explain without doing/showing.

I restarted p90x with bass. I use the bass workouts durning back and chest, shoulder arms workouts. I do the bass between muscle groups like after i do chest and back bass then chest and back again twice then another round of bass.

@78lfx I just started krav. We do the straight leg version. I think snapping you just stop at the end while straight leg you seem to go threw more. What do you think?
-
@mattwizard123 - where have you trained??? I trained Muay Thai for a year and we were taught not to bend the knee and whip... a straight leg is correct Muay Thai. You loose power when you whip. If you keep a straight leg all the power comes from you hips. I would love for you to hold the pads for me to demonstrate and tell me im wrong.

p90x? lol. you fag.
-
@mattwizard123 Actually no, in traditional Muay Thai you don't straighten your legs on a kick. If you did that, it would defeat the whole purpose of whipping your hips around for torque
-
hm, not abd
but y kick with ur shoes...
-
@WolfForest22 ya at first your leg needs to be bent but at the end of your kick your leg needs to be straight, where you train if they tell you to kick with bended legs hey man go for it dont take it so personally that i have different technique than you. relax man take it easy
-
@mattwizard123 Completely untrue. Am guessing you don't train muay thai and if you do then you don't train under a half decent camp. You do not kick with a straight leg in muay thai.
It's funny because I'm doing the exact same thing, minus the JR. I guess I need to add it if I'm going to step up my game! Great vid

Jumprope for 20-30 minutes before hitting the bag, work up to do doing criss-crosses, double unders etc.
