Presumo que fui uno de los afortunados en comprar el acetato original de 33 rpm del disco Village Green Preservation Society que salió en 1967 y del cual se vendieron únicamente 50,000 copias, lo que resultó un fracaso para un álbum que devendría en material de culto. Por cierto que la edición mexicana traía Days y She got everything, y por tal motivo considero que el álbum fue superior al original inglés.

The more I listen to this, the better it gets - great brass arrangement, a cracking bass and drum groove and the vocal harmony of Ray and Dave Davies. Yes, yes, yes. Like so much of Ray Davies's work, it's absolutely defining of the period whilst being way ahead of it's time. What a talent.

The Kinks are one of the best bands of all time, I saw them in the early 60's in our local dance hall, they were brilliant.

Brilliant! One of my favourite bands. Love the salute when Ray sings the line about the George Cross.
