It's the same unit as "Ion Tape Express". I have one of those and the operation is OK but it does have a major problem (at least mine does). The tape drive speed (or spindle cocentricity) varies causing a great deal of "wow" (pitch fluctuation) in the audio output. I sent the unit back to the factory and they sent it back saying the device was within standards. Well, maybe for Hip Hop, but not for flute sonatas. I'm very upset with the unit for that reason.
