I live in the Virgin Islands and I'm going back to Schuylkill Cty in three wks for a visit,.......God I miss this kind of food!!!!! Pieroghies,halushkii, belinies, city chicken!!!.....I think I'll crash a wedding at St. Nicks in Minersville!

This is basically from their cookbook from St. Mary's. The information states in addition to what was stated one adds 5 or 6 dashes of worchestershire sauce, fry (in butter or margerine)one med. finely chopped onion. An option, the Halupki could be covered, as they directed or with a diluted tomato sauce or covered with V8 Juice.
Note: Boil cabbage for one or two minutes which softens the leaves for easy removal.

Thanks for making the stuffed cabbage exactly the way my mom would make it. She was from Pottsville, Pa. and Polish. Now I feel back home again.
