Muslim leaders, meeting at last week's OIC Summit, have put together a plan to counter Islamaphobia. Inside Story asks how serious the problem is and if Muslim countries can work together to eradicate it.

Nonsense, Moslems are not responsible people. In the U.S., pro-life supporters are prosecuted when they kill doctors and nurses. In Israel, Orthodox militants have their homes bulldozed for building where they shouldn't. Moderate,peaceful moslems do nothing about their radical brethren. In fact, various islamic governments support them, while others say its just a form of religious expression. Take some responsibility and you will not see Islamaphobia...until then Islamaphobia is very justified.

Cartoons worse than a murder. If you can't cope with an insulting cartoon, then you need to grow up.

Muslim converts in the west are more polished, liberal and not savages calling for murder all the time.

Western and not Islamic upbringing is responsible for that.

What is islam doing in order to remove the stigmatism of Islamaphobia besides remaining silent when suicide bombers kill innocent people ? Why dont muslim clerics stand up and condemn these actions ? Why is it that the hate mongers in the islam culture are always muslim clerics? Can Islam separate state and religion ? In which Islamic countries are other religions treated as equals ?

Pope John Paul II once reminded that the 20th century aside from being the one of prosecution of Jews was also one of the prosecution of christians (i'm an atheist myself) - i would honestly want to see such a discusion as in this document concerning the massacre of Armenians by muslim Turkey, i would love to see the subject of christian churches being burnt down in muslim asia taken. there are many stories like this, all of them taboo in the muslim world.
