Nailed it. Everything is soo goddamn overproduced, unnatural, overcontrolled, and is just plain fuckin fake nowadays, when bands/pop artists or whatever just take parts of a riff, and just use a computer to produce it, done, no love, no skill involved. If you can't live up to the idea of the song you wanna make, then what good is the au natural of the riff being produced, which is soo robotic? That's why I've claimed ETID as one of my favs of all time, and STILL a loyal soldier :)

And that my friends is what is known as Artistic Integrity you dont see it alot because it is becoming a lost virtue among bands. they would rather "drag & click" than but the proverbial blood, sweat and tears into their art this is what you should be thinking about every time you enter the studio instead of if you have enough black eyeliner and white corpse paint to do another bullshit interview about how you are making music from your "soul" you have no soul you sold it to your teenage fans!
