One of my facebook friends made a Passion reference today which of course made me want to sing from Passion. I Read is a really awkward song to do out of context to a reduced vocal Dutch recording, but eh, for right now this is it:) It's SUCH a gorgeous song, One of my favorites ever. Hopefully one day I can do it in costume with my locket (Long story but when I did Passion, it became my character's security blanket) and it'll be more fully involved, but for now, here's some Fosca action.

PS Dork here...if you actually read Julie of which Fosca mentions (and don't unless you're playing Fosca or Giorgio because it's REALLY tedious and boring, and this is coming from someone who loves classical literature) Julie is like Giorgio (hence the mystery line) , and some of the imagery from the book is paraphrased in the dialogue and lyrics of Passion. Gotta love that!!! As an actor you can make the choice to use the BOOK to connect to Giorgio through specific passages echoed in show!!

Ok yeah, Imma dork.

  • I wish youtube had a "love" button.

And I never knew that about the show. Leave it to James Lapine to make references like that.

  • okay, so you're really good at singing and stuff. Found this by accident, and you're operatic and pitchlovely and any manner of superlatives.
