If you look closely, LeBron travelled.

@Cheema0113 Well, he does rely on his inconsistent jumpshot more, but I wouldn't say he's not that much of a slasher anymore. He was definitely quicker in Cleveland but he's still the most freakish athlete in sports today.
I agree, and he outplayed Dirk in some of those games, but I still don't understand how he was so shut down in so many of the playoff games before the finals =/. I guess Wade and LeBron can't coexist in the playoffs.

@douchiedude Lebron really isn`t all that much of a slasher. He used to be like the best slasher ever who could get to the rim when ever he wanted back when he was around 240 in clevelend. Now he is way to big so he isnt as agile to split double teams and get to the rim. Lebron actually relies on his jumpshot alot more now.
Wade IMO is the best slasher in the game today. He doesnt have a very reliable jumpshot but he is still unguardable due to his ability to get to the rim, went ham in finals

@Cheema0113 That's because Derrick Rose also takes a ton of ill-advised shots. Also, Kobe is just as good a burst scorer this league has ever seen, and coaches value slashers more because Jordan changed the game. It doesn't make shooters less valuable, they stretch the court. LeBron will never elevate his game if he never develops a jumpshot, just like Jordan or Magic had to. See how easy it was for Dallas to shut him down? Or SA in the '07 finals, or just his postseason career in general (46%).

@douchiedude Well it tells me that Ray Allen and Reggie Miller wasn`t as good scorers as Jordan. Your argument is the reason why coaches value slashers over shooters. And is the main reason why I think Kevin Durant is overrated because he is a shooter whose game is very similar to Ray Allen`s. But also let`s not forget that Derrick rose is a slash first guy and he shot 44% this season.

@Cheema0113 I understand that their style of play couldn't be more different. LeBron and Jordan were slashers. Jordan developed a much better jumpshot than LeBron has, but they were slashers who were able to get the to rim at will. Even in Kobe's prime when he was able to dunk on anyone, he has ALWAYS been a shooter first. Naturally, pure shooters will always have a lower shooting percentage than slashers. Is Ray Allen less great because he shot 45% in his career? Hell no. Or Reggie Miller's 47%

@douchiedude If there is one stat that is important, it is shooting percentage. It shows how much of an ease you can score with. I think u the one who watches highlights alone thats hy u have trouble understanding that this boy misses ALOT of shots.
-
@Cheema0113 Kobe will never be LeBron because he's surpassed anything LeBron will every accomplish by far. No one will ever touch MJ, LBJ won't touch Kobe. 2-8 Finals record? Get the FUCK OUT. If you judge greatness by shooting percentage then you are completely stupid and you probably don't actually watch this sport outside of box scores and highlights.

if he didn pick up th dribble, it might actually be a 4-point play !
