This isn't my carrier, but a friend of mine. Some people have all the toys! :-)

  • "Now hush up and drive Miss Daisy home."

  • I realize its a "universal carrier" but why the Bren gun? Why not a Vickers or an M2 or some other heavy bastard that would need a tankette to carry its bulk around? Bren guns are light machine guns for a reason.

  • @ZackMyslinski ***German soldier gets hit directly from a 60lb rocket, fired from a Typhoon fighter.

  • It is my understanding that these were designed to carry mortars.

And as usual got a nickname for something else the gun is in a terrible mount and a Vickers belt fed would have been a better choice as you could carry plenty of ammo

  • Great vehicle the universal carrier - here's a thought - if you welded it onto the back of the front half of a truck you'd have a half-track.

  • NICE !!!!!

  • (German soldier firing Panzerfaust) Thump!!!! (Bren Carrier) BANG CRASH !!!

  • I wanna play company of heroes now :)

  • ACE..i thought they were a bit soft but i would brown my trousers if that thing was after me.brenda sounding sweet

  • The one we had had rusted out mufflers and it sounded pretty hidious.

And it chewed/drank juice like a destroyer.

And it was hard to turn at slow speed.

But still, we had one and it was great being a kid and taking my friends for a drive in our "tank".

Oh, ours was made by Ford, petrol V8. Only small, about 298ci or something...
