That's all it is with the demo. It does seem the character you use is a master of all trades.

The demo is the same as the full game in this respect. The base class of your Avatar is the Tactician, who can use both swords and tomes. There is no way to change this upon creation, but you are able to choose which stat you will have best and worst growth in. Also, you will be able to change classes later in the game, and while most units can only change within a subset of 3 unpromoted classes, the Avatar can become anything except gender-exclusive classes of the opposite sex.

The fisrt and last time I played Fire Emblem was on the gamecube and I loved it, its a hard game to play because if any of your character's die in the game they are lost for good,so it makes the next levels harder.But I haven't got my 3ds I sold it to get a 3Ds Xl but put the money towards a Wii U, Im so tempted.

I already got the demo, can't wait until the actual game finally releases! Can't wait... Hyrule Historia hits later this month and then a few days later, Fire Emblem. Tis gonna be great!
