Arab-American Psychologist, Wafa Sultan speaks out on Al-Jazeera TV about the way Muslims have taken a path to violence and destruction, the "clash of civilizations". She compares between the actions of Muslims to Jews and Christians. She speaks in plain common sense terms and makes you ask the questions why can't Muslims leave everyone else alone. What right do the Muslims have of saying that people that have different beliefs should be converted or worse, killed? Believe what you want to believe, but leave those alone who don't agree with you.

i think most Muslims realize how violent islam is but are afraid to admit it

and they are unable to get out of the darkness because of family pressure.

I agree we have a less than perfect track record considering our recent history. And yes, we have committed dreadful atrocities in the past. However, he fact remains that, today, we in the west are constantly trying to find ways to improve our lives, as well as the lives of others, stand up for women's and gay rights, educate our children in science, history and teach enlightened philosophy. Islam is stuck in an outdated and primitive system of laws that bear no relation to the 21st century.

great question.typical of islam garbage and frankly all religions.in catholic religion we are taught that there is a destiny already pre determined for us.we are either in the book of life or not.well then why pray for this or that and make amends when our fate is already determined?people need to wake up.it's all one big lie.if there is a god and he loves us then why make us believe in something we can't see,feel or measure.and why would he want us to suffer in eternal fire if we don't?think???

Oh and I forgot, does respecting women for you include cutting out the clitoris and labia or small girls - WITHOUT anesthetic, in order to prevent them from enjoying sex. If Allah made all humans perfect, what are you doing interfering with what he designed?! Is that not blasphemy?

does that include stoning women to death? Beheading them? Not letting them have a decent education? Keeping them locked up in a house needing to ask permission to leave? A guide in the Koran about how best to beat your wife if she as displeased you?

No. Islam states very clearly in the Koran that women are not on a equal standing with men. It is said that a woman's testimony is not equal to that of a man. Woman are systematically trampled on by the Koranic Teachings. That cannot be denied.

I am a non-muslim against terrorism but she's pretty silly to be defending colonialists and the evils that the west has committed (Being Australian, I know what my people did to the indigenous population here). Wafa claims that the west has a perfect record. The history of my Australia is far from perfect.

She says that the US gov is not responsible for the demise of the indians. She fails to recognise the last native tribes were massacred in the 19th and 20th century by US troops.
