Obviously this isn't the first time this has been done, but I did this as a test to see if my PS3 will work on the monitor once I get it.

  • Hi. What you have to do, after plugging in your standard A/V cables, is switch the input on your monitor. That should do the trick.

  • To everyone asking how I did this; I simply attached the factory cables (A/V)to the back of my monitor, it has inputs already installed, however, adapters are sold for the same effect. Hope this answered any questions.

  • Okay, to answer everyone's questions on the cables, they are the factory shipped cables that come with the PS2.

  • did u use vga/av converter cable and if so VGA cant transfer sound so how'd you get the sound
