In 1991, at age 11, by the unanimous vote of 20 judges from 11 countries, he won first prize in the Fifth Wieniawski International Youth Violin Competition, making him the youngest prizewinner under the age of 16 and gaining for him the accolade of being a remarkable talent.

Bach,J.S. Partita No. 3, BWV 1006 (Preludio, Loure and Cavotte en Rondeau) and N.Paganini's 16th caprice

This is a precious video record of the competition. He was very young but please just close your eyes and listen to the music. Tell me what do you think.

  • If you want to watch his recent performances which rarely uploaded in English, you can search in youtube with his name: 李传韵, or 李傳韻

  • He played it as possessed here. Bravo!

I saw him performed recently at a live concert, it's a disappointing experience. I had high hopes before it.

  • @bourbakis He is now totally weird, but still many people love his irritable performance when he grow up.
