i just realized that FG42 when on full auto mode, the bolt actually stays on the back.. and released when you pull the trigger.. looks almost has the same system as the MP40 subs.. but the FG42 has the gas operated system with locks on rating bolt.. while when it goes into semi, the bolt stays on the front... interesting system... very different from the Stg44...

@pklocek They should chamber one of these in .250 Savage. New barrel, same bolt and a spacer in the back of the magazine. It would make a superb assault rifle.
