Champions are made from something they have deep inside them. A desire, a dream, a vision. They have to be faster. They have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.

There is so much to be said about those who operate as independants in this field. Campaining on there own utilizing the technologies that they have created and setting penetration and efficiency records is not something to be ignored but taken seriously. To those chosen few who shine above all in this field I admire your desires to raise the bar and discover ones own abilities as one embarks on a mission to cement oneself as a serious opponent with one determination. There is so much to say about people who are truly focused and dedicated in this field but I must

say that and I'm sure about the fact that hands on

plays a huge part in determining what to do to

increase a drill rig's potential. Does Atlas Copco

have a drill that can compete with Marc Tellier's

design and if so I would like to know the rig of

choice they would use in a one on one comp-

etition with him but Sandvik engineer says no

and mentions that Sandvik cannot touch him

The engineer at Sandvik mentioned that the man

behind Superdrill is one of one in this world with such a gifted feel for the process and brilliant in

his design technique. Apparently he is very much in tune with the rock drilling process. Then the engineer stated ok let's compare horses for courses. But I have to agree that not

all driller's are alike. Marc Tellier the designer

and operator of Superdrill has gone where no

driller has gone before and apparently his story

checks out. Alfred.

Now I have spoken to a Sandvik/Driltech engineer

about this fellow from Canada who has posted

about his Superdrill which originated from their plant but apparently from what this engineer is telling me is that the guy behind Superdrill gutted a 1990 D35K in 1993 and re-designed it and continually done extensive research and

development since then and has pushed the

units capabilities well beyond factory specks

working the DTH method to well over 500psi

at the hammer with 350psi compressor. Holy!

I have read many comments from individuals who have posted on these Copco videos and are trying to separate fact from fiction. I have read comments

from muslim4321,Ultradrill,Mrultrad­rill,Mightier-

thanever and would like to know if you claim

the fastest technology on earth then how did you do it. I am fully aware of in house drilling

and drilling contractors. I would like to think

that the drilling contractor's have the edge over

in house because it's their own operation to

take advantage of.
