@Yellowpinkgsings I have not read the book, but I wouldn't judge the book because of it's film adaptation. That'd be just stupid. Some others have pointed the out the book is good 2 so I'm sure I'll have to give it a read sometime.

@PhilsDaWord I love Tom Hardy, think he's a very good actor. Not too fussed he didn't get a nomination this year but I'm sure his time will come.

Harry Potter definitely got snubbed. After eight bloody films, you would think they'd get a bit more recognition.

I didn't watch extremely loud and incredibly close but I did read the book and it was amazing did you read it? I kind of don't want to see the film now it sounds like crap and probably doesn't do justice to the book... And yes both Harry potter and Ryan gosling shod have gotten more recognition. Esp. Ryan b/c he is hot

There are ONLY 4 great films nominated for anything this year: Tree of Life, Descendants, A Separation and Pina. Five if you count Extremely, etc. (Just kidding) Anyways, the problem this year was that the great films of the year were completely ignored. Where was We Need to Talk About Kevin? Take Shelter? A Dangerous Method?

Of course War House got the shit nominated out of it. That movie was designed in the basement of Disney Paris by a supercomputer that does nothing but spew out Oscar bait movie ideas.
