Drugging Children

That is so disgusting. Like that woman said, being a victim doesn't make you sick. These kids need to learn that they are human beings who are worthy of love and can become anything they want to be, not labeled as mentally ill simply because they had a bad time in life. Why not give them counseling to help them build self-esteem and help them prepare for their futures?

She is right ... MONEY is the reason these drugs are given to the children and your tax dollars pay for these drugs so the industry can make money!

Where is the voice for this kids? Money, money, money is the reason to perscribe these drugs to the kids who have no voice. Behavior improvement is a personal thing. Go to jail, or improve. Drugs is not the answer.

have you thought about changing YOUR behaviour in relation to them? Most of the time when the caregiver is uncentered problem behaviours erupt.

All of this attention - even the government spending 23 million dollars on the CATIE study hasn't done a damn thing. People WE NEED ONE VOICE!!! The Senators and Representatives as well as your legislatures THEY WILL LISTEN! I HAVE DONE IT! DON"T STOP TRYING PLEASE!!! Get their emails and stay on their them - don't let up - get it into the media. Of course they bow to the drug companies too - for the ad money.

I've taken some of these drugs and I immediately stopped them. Many of these drugs are harder than any illegal drugs I have tried. I cannot believe a child is prescribed antipsychotics-some of the most horrible drugs in the world. These drugs really should only be used for psychotic people or schizophrenics or people who are having bad trips on LSD or the like. No child can live a good life on antipsychotics or the intense antidepressants. Ritalin/adderall-maybe. But not the others.
