maybe not overused but in a sense that nobody can ever re-create queen's unique vocals so it's struck as a challenge.

No one can top Freddie Mercury, but I think Constantine Maroulis kicks ass at this, as well as he does on Rock of Ages.

I'll be honest, its not that bad, and sure it would be better if his voice wasn't so delicate but it was pretty good.
