@jawaballs when i have my Dark Eldar in dawn of war deployment, i pack my two warrior squads and lord in raiders. I've never been asked to pull my DTs off the table.

Dawn of War is inside the rule book, you can only start with a HQ and two troop choices on set up, everything else is in reserve. This is also a night fight for turn turn

@redchickenproduction I don't recall, its possible we played the deployment wrong. 5th ed was still new. The official rule is that transports count as one of your troops for DoW deployment. So you can deploy a squad and its dedicated transport and that counts as your two troops choices for deployment.

wow i played necrons once with my blood angels (new codex) i only killed his command bardge and 1 warrior

@jawaballs but didnt you start off on your first turn with a rhino with a squad inside and another on the objective with dante near the rhino? so wouldnt that mean you shouldnt of done that because your only allowed to have the troops and HQ (i was reading a message you said saying that you cant have transports on the field if its dawn of war)

so when you start off with just your HQ nd troops what do you do with your dedicated transports because dont the units have to be in their DT?
