In a June 17, 2009 speech on the House floor, Congressman Steve King responds to efforts by Democrats to block King's amendments keeping ACORN of out the 2010 census and barring ACORN from receiving taxpayer dollars.
Could you imagine the chaos if ACORN helped to find people to conduct the 2010 census? IT WOULD BE MADNESS!! The very future of our country is at stake! I mean, people hired by ACORN counting people!!! Think of the possibilities, people!!
Rep King is right about some things -- but he is a lysing no good SOB on this farce of a "Fairtax".
Fairtax fine print is really a massive NEW tax on all cities, counties, and states.
Funny how they kept that in the fine print, isn't it? Not one mayor or governor has any idea Fairtax plans on them paying this massive new tax.
Fairtax isn't serious -- they dare not have a hearing under oath, their plan "to make the government the biggest taxpayer:" is just bull. And they know it
Kept fighting King!!!!!

Thank you Rep. King for speaking up. I am glad to have you as our Representative. We are sick and tired of our Constitution being spat upon.
