Jonathan Trott reflected on a fantastic Ashes Series but maintained his and England's desire to continue improving.

Confident, calm, and a rock for England at first wicket down, Trott has been a revelation in his 18 months of international cricket, but says no one can rest on their laurels in the England squad.

@YidArmy1001 Trott's strike rate is 78.66 – higher than Bopara. Cook is 72.47, Ian Bell is 72.78 (Kieswetter 88.45, Pietersen 87.10, Morgan 82.85).

Trott has the highest average of any England player who has played at least five ODIs for England (53.68). Next down is Pietersen (40.51). Also Trott was the best player in the World Cup, the second best has retired (Strauss).
