(Sacramento) - FIGHTING FOR OUR FAMILIES—In this Assembly Web Report we hear from ordinary, hard-working Californians, "Real People", who discuss the life-threatening situations that would occur if state-funded safety net programs are eliminated, as the governor has proposed. A 24 year old woman born HIV positive who says the Governors proposal will cut her off from lifesaving anti-viral drugs. A working mother describes the ordeal of what would happen if her familys health coverage and basic services are eliminated; a young single mother who receives Cal-Works pleads that the state not eliminate the program that allows her to work and take care of her family. These individuals are representative of hundreds of thousands of Californians who play by the rules, work hard and will potentially lose everything if Californias safety net is destroyed.
Fuck the Democrats and the stupid sad sob show that they put on. Why dont we get rid of the real waste by eliminating 100% of all Consultants for the State, and cut all Middle managment from the State and every fat ass person who sits behind a desk and looks at e-mails all day long. I'm tired of supporting all of these welfare cases and leaches that call themselfs servants of the comunnity. Bull Shit, every Democrate in this State is sucking the UNions Dicks! Go fuck your selfs.

I think .... that ...the high taxes in Cali also contributing to harshness of poverty in California . Not everyone can afford higher taxes ..non profit organizations will have to handle the responsibilities ..unfortunately, because of higher taxes and more layoff... and businesses are suffocating with regulations... contribution to the non profit and faith base program are waaaayyyy down and they dont have the money either. Layoff and forclosure definetely contribute to more homelessness..

Wow, great Orwellian doublethink there. If almost all the dems vote for spending and taxing and only a few repubs do, it's the repubs fault. LOL!

When it come to the Budget, the Republicans, because for the 2/3rds rule, are in charge. If all you can do is blame someone else for your problems, at least blame the right people.
