@SuperSuperfan Because it is true for the world. ~5% of the world's population owns ~95% of the wealth and natural resources. In the US it is roughly 10% that owns about 60% of all wealth. That gap is growing more rapidly here than any other country on earth.

@Bolsjevikpirayan Almost every European nation is experiencing a debt crisis. If you can implement socialism with some sort of checks and balances system and a balanced budget requirement it might work out. It just seems like all systems become corrupt... As long as I am free to choose my career, keep 70% of my income, and don't see the people I love suffering I am content (actually I hate seeing anyone suffer but some people do it to themselves(still is sad lol(!)))

@IAmMediocreAtBest as long as a society needs charity it only proves that something is wrong, give me one proof that socialism, REAL socialism, doesnt work in reality, then give me one proof that capitalism does work in reality, then i will believe you...a capitalist societ will always be undemocratic no matter how you try to twist and turn the facts, the only way to TRUE democracy is through socialism
