What you need is a curb feeler with a orange flag. This touches the car before it touches you.
Not only will this result in wider overtakes; it also makes an alarming sound inside the vehicle.

It is iligel to cycle on the pavement.
The road is there for everybody, not just cars.
A little patience wouldnt hurt would it?
If you tried to get out of your car and kill while I was on my bike you would have a bike chain round your neck before you shut your door.

that section of road where you moved over looked pretty heavily potholed, with hindsight you should of taken primary earlier,but then again with hindsight they should of never let that driver have a license

Bad overtaking. It was in a corner, there was oncomming traffic and he didn't have enough speed (let alone room) to overtake you. Clearly he doesn't belong on the road if he can't even 'protect' the weak.
